Arranging monthly employer contributions to your SIPP by Direct Debit
If your employer wants to contribute monthly to your SIPP by Direct Debit, you will need to download, complete and return an ii SIPP contribution form.
How to arrange monthly employer contributions to your SIPP by Direct Debit
- Download an ii SIPP contribution form.
You can type directly into the text boxes. Alternatively, you can print the form and fill it in by hand. Complete Section 1 by entering your SIPP account details.
Complete Section 2 by entering your employer's details.
On page 3, complete the Monthly contributions section.
If your contributions will be deducted from your salary before tax, enter the amount of the contribution in the Monthly employer contribution – Gross box and we will not claim basic rate tax relief on the contribution.
If your contributions will be deducted from your salary after tax, enter the amount of the contribution in the Monthly employee contribution – Net box and we will claim basic rate tax relief on the contribution.
Check with your employer if you are not sure if your contributions will be made before or after tax.Enter your account holder’s declaration in Section 6.

The quickest and easiest way to send your form to us is via secure message in your online account. Alternatively, you can return it by post to: Product Admin, interactive investor, 2nd floor, One Embankment, Neville Street, Leeds, LS1 4DW.
What's next?
- Monthly employer contributions are collected on the 1st of the month or the nearest working day after.
- A Direct Debit can take up to 10 working days to become active. Your first payment will be collected on the 1st of the following month provided we receive the completed form in time. We will send you a Direct Debit notification before the first Direct Debit is collected to confirm your start date.
- If you are making a net contribution, we will claim basic rate tax relief (20%) for you. It usually takes 6-11 weeks to receive the tax reclaim from HMRC.
