Why was this fund chosen?
Interactive investor has selected this fund to preserve purchasing power when planning to buy a fixed (rather than an index-linked) annuity. It is designed to hedge the capital value against movements in level annuity prices up to the time of an annuity purchase. The fund holds UK government bonds.
This fund is benchmarked using the FTSE Actuaries UK Conventional Gilts All Stocks Index. Details of how the fund has performed against this benchmark can be found in the Key Investor Information Document (KIID) for the fund. Our factsheet contains general information about the fund, including a chart showing the value of fund units over the last 5 years.
Things to consider
Changes in interest rates can affect the value of bonds, which means it could go down. Inflation can also erode the real value of the fund. Past performance is not an indicator of what may happen in future.
What is the fund charge?
The ongoing charges figure (OCF) is 0.07%.
This represents some of the fees which the fund manager will take for running the fund.
IMPORTANT: The OCF does not include some other Fund Manager operating costs and charges, including Fund Manager transaction costs and performance fees. For a full breakdown of the costs and charges information about an investment, please visit the factsheet page and click on the link under ‘Documents’ to request the Cost Disclosure Document.
