IN BRIEF: Norbert Reithofer steps down as BMW Supervisory Board Chair

BMW AG - Munich-based car maker - Norbert Reithofer steps down as chair of the Supervisory Board after nearly four decades at the firm. He will be succeeded by Nicolas Peter, who was appointed Chair of the Supervisory Board. Reithofer started at BMW in 1987 and in 2006 was appointed chair of the Board of Management. In May 2015, he succeeded Joachim Milberg as chair of the Supervisory Board.
