How to pay for a corporate action if you've elected to buy new shares
If you don't have enough cash in your account to pay for your subscription by the deadline date of the event, you will still be debited the funds.
If there is not enough cash in your Trading Account at the deadline date, it may put your account into an unauthorised overdraft position. Please see our Terms of Service and Rates and Charges page for more information on the implications of this.
ISA accounts are not permitted to go into a debit position. If you wish to use funds in your ISA to take up a corporate action, you must ensure that all transactions have been fully settled and that cleared funds are available.
